Monday, June 10, 2013. What has happened since we last posted. My name is Stuart Flaum. I am credited with organizing the Disabilities Leadership Council. Over the past couple of years I have not contributed to the blog. However, I have made a difference as to how families across New York State and the country plan for succesful family outcomes. We also must encourage individuals to become advocates beginning at their teenage years. Advocacy, develops over time, and the skill improves over time.

On October 25, 2017 we hosted 344 participants as 172 mentoring matches in 102 businesses who participated in a shared learned experience. The budget announcement pertains to a new strategy for employment for people with disabilities, which was launched June 5, 2017.
